  • Raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, Olivia struggled to express and embrace her identity. Growing up in Pentecostal churches certainly didn’t help, and though she loved her family and friends, she knew she had to leave her small town home and head to college.

  • Unfortunately, Olivia chose a religious college that only exacerbated her struggles and depression. She made a better decision to pursue clinical psychology at Virginia Tech, and found a warm and accepting environment that allowed her to admit her true sexuality (boys are yummy, FYI).

  • Finding purpose in helping others, Olivia loved her 14 year career as a psychology professor at a community college. Unfortunately, that college was in a conservative part of Florida, and Olivia knew she needed to escape to a liberal area to uncover the last part of her true identity…

  • The queen of perfect timing, Olivia accepted her identity as a transgender woman in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Literally transitioning all by herself was a nightmare, but one that honed her strength and bravery. She focused on her transition from 2020-2024 and is finally ready to live as the fabulous woman she is.

  • Puppies. Fashion. Music. Boys. Buffy. Equality. Authenticity. Love.

    Not necessarily in that order…

  • Currently single and celebrating a new sex positive attitude. Looking for love, though, and finally ready for it. Focusing on my writing as the professional world in America caves in to anti-trans rhetoric and pushes me out. Did I say that out loud?..
